How do you figure out what path you’re supposed to be on

Have you ever felt kind of lost? Like you’re not quite sure what you were put on this earth to do? Maybe you launched your idea and it didn’t go as planned and now you feel stuck. Or maybe you started a new journey and you’ve found yourself not as happy as you thought you would be. You’re wondering what to do now. Well, if you’ve been struggling with figuring out what path you’re supposed to be on this great book The Art Of Work:A Proven Path to Discovering What You Were Meant to Do, by Jeff Goins will help you figure it out.

I started reading The Art of Work last week (I was fortunate enough to get a signed copy from Jeff Goins himself at Fincon), and it’s been really hard to put it down. I find myself going back re-reading chapters.

My biggest take away so far is that we need to pay attention to the lessons that life is teaching us. We need to not only pay attention to the good moments, but we also need to pay attention to those moments where we stumbled, and fell.

Everything that you’re going through, albeit good or bad is leading you to the exact path that you’re supposed to be on. I remember last year coming to a cross road where I had to decide if I wanted to stick with my skin care business or if I solely wanted to focus on Young Yet Wise. It was a tough decision to make, but after reading this book it’s made me realize that it’s ok to pivot in a different direction. “God wastes nothing.” There are valuable lessons to everything that happens in your life. I talk more about this in the video.

Yes I changed my shirt color in Photoshop for the header image of this post because it visually looked better yellow. #designerproblems.

Anyway, If you’re interested in buying a copy of this book you can buy it here for only $9.34, I guarantee that it will give you some clarity it certainly has for me.
