How to Use fear to your advantage

July 27, 2015

I think one of the coolest things you can do is to push yourself, even when you’re afraid to do something. That’s what I’ve been doing lately

When you’re afraid to make your next move, make it anyway. On the other side of fear are great opportunities waiting for you. Yes You!

If you don’t feel fear before pursing an opportunity, it’s not big enough. If you keep making comfy decisions you will stay stuck in the same old place.

I know some of you may not have a mentor to push you, so today I will be that coach.

My mentor has been pushing me to do so many things I was afraid to do, but you know what after If you  did those things I was shocked at the amazing outcome.

I’ve been sending emails to people where I’m afraid to press the send button. Even though I’m afraid I press send anyway, and you know what those emails have opened up doors for great opportunities.

Now what would of happened if I let fear stop me from sending those emails?

Absolutely nothing. The answer will always be no if you don’t try.

Now I’m like bring it on fear, the bigger the fear the greater chance I have at a better opportunity.

Fear is real. Fear is there to keep you stuck. Fear doesn’t want you to win. Fear wants time to pass you by, and have you in the same place next year.

And who has time to be in the exact same place next year? Not us!

You won’t be in the same place next year if you start to take action and do the exact things you’re afraid of doing.

Use fear to guide you to your next great opportunity. There are no mistakes, just lessons, or opportunities.

Sure, you never know what will come out of you taking that next step and kicking fear in the face, but if you never take any steps you will always stay exactly where you are.

I will leave you with this quote: “If you always make the right decision, the safe decision,
the one most people make, you will be the same as everyone else.”
Paul Arden

P.S. Lot’s of people have asked me what’s another great book to read after reading mine of course (I brought my e-book back, so if you want to learn how to invest you can but my book here), I would highly recommend The Bogglehead’s guide to investing by: Taylor Larimore I just started reading it and it is great so far. You can purchase the book here along with all the other great books I recommend.

Have a great day everyone,

With all my love,

Candice Marie
